normally I HATE this stye of game, top-down drivers suck. However this isn't quite top down, kinda 45 degree perspective made it a lot better. As soon as I saw the first screen I thought oh man, these controls are gonna be SHIT. But they weren't and the graphics, gamplay, pickups, upgrades, all great. Really, really good job on a game style that's always been shit in my experience - 'cept this one piece of gold

Besides, this is a wicked game. Frustrating as all hell when you get stuck, but you can beat it, you just have to be reeeeeally fucking careful not screw up.

Anyway, awesome game. Loved the backgrounds, and since I love booting dogs in real life but have to honor those shitty real-life things like conscience, morality and the SPCA I enjoyed myself thoroughly. I knew I was in shit as soon as that hugeass cannon popped out of the boss's head, but I got him 2nd try. I'll definitely play it again to get further. Again, nice work.

Absolutely terrific, it is truly sick how many hours it's killed. I have yet to beat it on the hardest setting so more Raiden fun awaits. Awesome, awesome job with no need of improvement whatsoever, great remake and great game in and of itself. I am sooo not surprised to see no crappy reviews of this game.
